Lars Rathje, President
Lars is a Commercial Insurance Broker for Lockton Insurance specializing in Risk Management for Manufacturing, Food, Real Estate, Environmental, and Construction related businesses. He graduated with an Economics and Accounting degree and a minor in Entrepreneurship from UCSB. Lars is a director, organizer and leader for the CPA/Law Society.
Lauren Clark Rad, Vice-President
Lauren is an Attorney with Ferguson Case Orr Paterson, practicing business litigation, Employment Litigation and Counseling. She graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in spanish. Lauren co-leads events for the CPA/Law Society
Juan is a partner at the Oxnard CPA firm of Soares Sandall Bernacchi
& Petrovich, LLP where he specializes in all tax matters including estate,
gift, trust, partnership, corporate, individual, multi-state and U.S. matters.
He graduated from California State University, Northridge (B.S. in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Accounting), and Golden Gate University
(M.S. in Taxation, 2001). Juan helps with finding speakers and all financial matters for the CPA/Law Society
Scott Hansen is the regional director for the Westlake Village/Santa Barbara region of Wells Fargo Wealth Management. Mr. Hansen oversees the brokerage, investment management, trust, and private banking divisions. Mr. Hansen earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Scott is instrumental in the organization of the CPA/Law Society events.
Bruce Stenslie is the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County's president/CEO, with more than 25 years' experience in workforce and economic development. Prior to joining EDC-VC in 2007, Stenslie served as: Deputy Director of the California Workforce Association and Director of Workforce Policy for the Mayor's Office in LA. Bruce helps with various topics throughout the year for the CPA/Law Society
